BTS Anabiotec

Biological, biotechnological, agricultural
and environmental research

Goals :

Created in partnership with PEM2i companies, this BTS trains students to become senior laboratory technicians in the fields of health, the environment, agriculture, and the agri-food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. What makes this BTS unique is that it offers a curriculum with a strong focus on industrial microbiology and fermentation.

Career opportunities :

  • Laboratory technician in analysis or research (biotechnology, environment, agri-food, human or animal health)
  • Technician in companies specialised in the production of microorganisms (ferments, yeasts and microbiotic medicines).

Further studies :

  • Professional and academic bachelor's degrees, BUT in biological engineering (with the option to continue on to a master's degree)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Preparatory classes for admission to prestigious universities (engineering schools, etc).

The advantages of the BTS Anabiotec programme offered in Aurillac

Starting in 2027, students will be welcomed in a new building specifically designed for teaching industrial microbiology and will have access to advanced equipment for studying and producing microorganisms. They will also benefit from the PEM2i and « Ferments of the future » business network for their work-study programmes.
