In the vast field of industrial microbiology and fermentation, it is aligned with current research, development and innovation priorities (fermentation, innovative food for better health), as demonstrated by the major national GDFF programme ‘Ferments of the future Grand Challenge’ and the European COST PIMENTO action (CA20128): COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) called PIMENTO (for ‘Promoting Innovation of ferMENTed fOods’).
